KEY INGREDIENTS OF SABI-GLOW ML CREAM
pTeroWhite: Obtained from dried heartwood Pterocarpus marsupium, it is known for its melanogenesis inhibition potential & UV protection. pTeroWhite® 90% is a proprietary natural pterostilbene ingredient for cosmetic application, extracted from the dried heartwood of Pterocarpus marsupium. It functions as a skin-conditioning agent with skin lightening and antioxidant properties. Pterostilbene is a double-methylated version of resveratrol exhibiting a higher bioavailability as it is more easily transported into the cell and more resistant to degradation and elimination. It also enhances the properties produced by resveratrol. This product is GMO-free and is Kosher certified.
Mandelic Acid: An aromatic Alpha hydroxyl acid, having multiple beneficial effects ad a skin treatment – including antibacterial effects and improvement in photoaged skin, acne, abnormal pigmentation, and skin texture. Mandelic acid is clinically evaluated for reducing Hyperpigmentation. Malesma is a common skin condition in which light to dark brown or greyish pigmentation develops on the face. Mandelic acid has been shown to reduce melasma by as much as 50% in four weeks, resulting in a more evenly colored complexion and an example of its excellence in correcting skin tones. Those with deeply pigmented skin often have problems using alpha hydroxy acids because of the irritation they cause. This irritation can stimulate pigment-producing cells to produce more melanin, especially amongst darker complexions. This seems to be less of a problem with mandelic acid than with other alpha hydroxy acids.
Kojic Acid: Kojic Acid inhibits melanin formation. Excellent effects in toning the skin evenly, fighting age spots, freckles, and skin pigmentation. Kojic acid was originally found in 1989 in mushrooms from Japan, but it has since been discovered in other substances, like the residue that comes from fermenting rice wine. Scientists have noted the acid in soy, rice, and other grains, but most of the world’s supply of it still comes from mushrooms. Kojic acid is absorbed into the skin through topical solutions, like soaps, creams, lotions, and moisturizers. As the skin pulls in the acid, the kojic starts to slow down the production of melanin. Melanin is the element that makes the skin darker. When it is concentrated in one area, it can leave a dark spot. By slowing this production, the kojic acid makes the skin lighter, brighter, and more vibrant.
Lipobrite HCA-4: Reduces facial redness, brightens age spots, and reduces the appearance of dark circles. Lipobrite® HCA-4 is a skin brightening system, consisting of hydroxycinnamic acid (HCA) in PEG-4 which ensure its bioavailability to the skin. HCA is a potent anti-oxidant and it was shown to exhibit a protective effect on cells and biological tissues. Lipobrite® HCA-4 is a solution of pure plant-derived hydroxycinnamic acid. This has excellent antioxidant and tyrosinase inhibition properties to even skin tone and treats pigmentation disorders such as age spots. Lipobrite® HCA-4 is a patent-pending blend of hydroxycinnamic acid solubilized in ethoxydiglycol to assure bioavailability and deliver it to its site of action in the skin. In-vivo studies have shown Lipobrite® HCA-4 to be more effective than Kojic Acid.
WhiteTan: It is a hypoglycemic component clinically evaluated for its skin lightening properties.
