Melamet cream is a scientifically proven 3-way skin brightener that is made up of three key active chemical skin lightening ingredients: Tretinoin 0.025% – retinoic acid derivative of Vitamin A mild exfoliator from retinoid family; Hydroquinone 2% – effective bleaching substance; Cortisone 0.1% – corticosteroid against inflammatory and to calm your skin after application. All that 3 ingredients together contributes to a more brighter, healthier and smoother skin without pigmentations, melasma, freckles, dark discolorations and dark spots. Melamet cream is the first aid against any color skin disorders.
Melamet cream is made of Hydroquinone / Tretinoin / Cortisone salts, is a triple combination skin lightening cream used to treat hyperpigmentation on the skin. Its mechanism of action is reducing the amount of pigments such as melanin. This helps to lighten unwanted areas of darkened skin, including melasma (due to sun damage), chloasma, freckles, age spots and senile lentigines.
Hydroquinone 2% is a compound widely used in cosmetics for its ability to decrease the skin color, leading to whitening. By affecting the synthesis of the pigment melanin, it can gradually bleach the skin, thereby treating unwanted dark spots. Bleaching cream Melamet that contain hydroquinone prevent the formation of excess melanin, which contributes to areas of dark pigmentation. Hydroquinone cream are available over the counter and in prescription strength. Do not use hydroquinone for longer than three months. If the treatment is effective, you can expect to start seeing results after four weeks. Hydroquinone can cause skin irritation, burning, stinging and redness in some individuals. Stop using the cream if you experience severe irritation or swelling.
Tretinoin 0.025% (a type of vitamin A also known as retinoic acid) is frequently used in dermatology. It helps to increase the penetration of hydroquinone through the outer skin (stratum corneum), while also preventing the oxidation of hydroquinone, thereby enhancing its effects. In addition to this, it may also improve the rate at which the pigment is removed due to the fact that it increases the turnover rate of keratinocytes, while also helping to reduce the appearance of some fine wrinkles. Tretinoin component in Melamet cream contain prescription-strength retinoids that can help fade areas of dark pigmentation. It may take up to six weeks to see results from the use of topical retinoids, and they often cause mild irritation, redness and stinging during the first weeks of treatment. Do not use other topical products at the same time, unless directed to do so by your dermatologist. Tretinoin is not safe for pregnant women.
Cortisone 0.1% is added for its anti-inflammatory properties. It helps to lessen inflammation on the skin. Corticosteroid component in Melamet cream that contain cortisone ingredient, can help fade areas of dark pigmentation and reduce the chance of skin irritation associated with other topical treatments. Topical steroid creams come in many strengths, and your dermatologist will prescribe the strength best suited for your pigmentation problems. Apply these cream exactly as directed and do not stop using them suddenly to prevent illness.

HOW TO USE MELAMET SKIN LIGHTENING CREAM
Melamet cream with Hydroquinone / Tretinoin / Cortisone salts is intended for application directly to the area of skin that is affected by hyperpigmentation. It is possible that your dermatologist will instruct you to apply the cream once every day, at night. The duration of treatment may vary depending on your symptoms, and in all cases, the dermatologist providing treatment will decide how long you need to continue treatment for. Regular assessment of your progress may be necessary, and your dermatologist may schedule medical appointments in order to ensure that the cream is having its desired effects.
