Description
WHAT IS A RET-HC HYDROQUINONE 2%, TRETINOIN 0.05%, HYDROCORTISONE 1% CREAM
A Ret-HC cream from reputable Menarini Pharma is a triple combination type of medical-grade ingredients containing hydroquinone, tretinoin, and hydrocortisone acetate. The cream can be used for the gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions. A Ret-HC cream is used to treat skin darkening conditions such as freckles, melasma, hyperpigmentations, age spots, and even scars caused by acne.
Hydroquinone 2% – bleaches the skin by reducing the accumulation of skin pigment called melanin that causes darkening of the skin. It interferes with the synthesis of melanin and hampers important processes within cells that produce melanin (melanocytes). The bleaching effect of hydroquinone is reversible (reversible depigmentation) with sun exposure. So it should be used within a total sun avoidance program.
Tretinoin 0.05% – topical vitamin A derivative, exfoliant, skin oil sebum glands inhibitor, works by slowing the production of certain natural substances that can cause acne.
Hydrocortisone Acetate 1% – is a topical anti-inflammatory agent. It works by reducing redness, itching, and swelling caused by various skin conditions.
