Tretinoin 0.025% is a component that is flawlessly used for acne treatment purposes. Tretinoin helps to treat the acne symptoms and lessen the acne marks. Tretinoin is a very active exfoliator that accelerates the skin cycle. The retinoic acid (Tretinoin) improves the pigmentation by speeding up the elimination of melanin in the dermis. It also increases collagen levels in the skin cells and improves fine wrinkles. It does not, however, have an effect on deep converges formed on the skin and ice pick scars. Tretinoin salt also all improves the overall quality of the skin.

Clindamycin 1% is a very effective antibacterial agent that works nicely to destroy the bacterial growth that causes acne. Clindamycin gel is a topical lincomycin safe antibiotic, it inhibits the synthesis of essential bacterial proteins thereby stopping bacterial growth. Pure Clindamycin working by killing sensitive bacteria that cause different stages of acne and reducing the amount of free Sebo fatty acids that irritate the skin surface. Clindamycin antibiotic stopping bacteria that can contribute to acne from multiplying, helps to unplug blocked pores. Common side effects may appear – burning sensation, application site irritation, dry skin, itching, application site skin redness.


Do not use this cream in cases you are allergic to any of the ingredients present in this cream, are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your dermatologist if you have other health conditions. Retino AC comes in topical liquid gel form. Apply a small amount of the topical product as per the dermatologist’s advice. While using Clindamycin and Tretinoin, avoid unnecessary exposure to sunlight or artificial UV rays (sunlamps or tanning beds). If you do require to go out and get exposed to sunlight, protect your skin by wearing proper protective clothing and putting on a good sunscreen. Use SPF. Your skin may also become sensitive to weather conditions such as cold, wind, or dryness. You must protect your skin with proper clothing and products like moisturizing cream or lotion as needed. Apply cream as follows:

  • Wash your hands and the skin area affected using a mild soap and water
  • Pat dry your skin with a cotton cloth
  • Wait for 15-30 minutes before applying for this medicine
  • Use clean fingertips, a cotton swab to apply the medication( a pea-sized)
  • Apply only enough amount of medicine to cover the area lightly
  • Apply it religiously before bedtime, so as the acne scars heal faster. Proper care of the infected area is necessary.
  • Time to time application of the Gel will prove beneficial and will speed up the healing procedure.
  • Use this medicine as long as the dermatologist tells you to take. Use the cream exactly as directed. Never use more or less of it or use it more often than prescribed.
