What is Minimalist® Ceramides + Madecassoside Moisturizing Gel
5 skin essential pure Ceramides in a high concentration of 0.3%. Most products in the market contain less than 0.1% active Ceramides. Formulated with Ceramide: Cholesterol: Fatty Acid in the ratio of 3:1:1, which is proven to accelerate skin barrier recovery. Boosted with Madecassoside (an active ingredient of the Centella Asiatic plant) which is a powerful skin-soothing ingredient. Also contains Ursolic Acid that repairs damaged skin barriers. Aminobutyric Acid (GABA) and Aquaporin boosting ingredients for providing intense skin hydration. Formulated with high purity Ceramides (iActive Ceramide) sourced from Kimika USA.
Ceramides: This product uses a high concentration of 0.3% pure Ceramides, delivered through 5 essential Ceramides, namely, Ceramide NP, Ceramide EOP, Ceramide NS, Ceramide AS, and Ceramide AP.
Madecassoside: Madecassoside significantly inhibits the pro-inflammatory cytokine. In addition, Madecasssoside exhibits significant effects on the enhancement of skin hydration.
Ursolic Acid: Increases both the ceramide content of cultured normal human epidermal keratinocytes and the collagen content of cultured normal human dermal fibroblasts.
Aminobutyric Acid: Gaba also known as γ-Aminobutyric Acid (GABA), is a non-protein amino acid naturally present in the body. Gaba is produced by lactobacillus fermentation, has a purity higher than 98%, and is ECOCERT. Gaba is an anti-aging ingredient with the following benefits:
- Reduce wrinkles and smooth skin. Gaba can quickly penetrate into the skin, relaxing tense muscles to reduce small wrinkles and lines. Results showed that after applying a cream containing Gaba continually for 1 week, fine lines disappear, the average depth of wrinkles is reduced, and skin elasticity is increased to reveal younger, fresher-looking skin.
- Repair the damaged skin. In the epidermis, Gaba can improve cuticle barrier function because it can promote the epidermal cell proliferation and synthesis of involucrin and glutathione. As a consequence, Gaba can reduce skin roughness caused by external factors such as drying, radiation, and pollution. 3.4 mg/L of Gaba increases the production of epidermal cells up to 1.4 times with respect to control.
- Promote the synthesis of HA and collagen. In the dermis, Gaba can promote the fibroblasts proliferation and the synthesis of HA and collagen, thus improving skin moisture and elasticity, making the skin smooth and tight. 1μg/mL of Gaba can increase more than 2-fold HA secretion from dermal fibroblasts.
