- Rose Hip Oil and Other Essential Fatty Acids- The ultimate beauty ingredient trio – anti-inflammatory fatty acids and vitamins A (retinoic acid) and vitamin C – make this oil a potential solution for fading any facial scars or unsightly marks. Together this helps undoes and prevent oxidative damage and helps the skin rebuild collagen. It can help fade skin hyperpigmentation and potentially minimize the appearance of fine lines and even stretch marks.
- Jojoba Oil – Rosehip should be blended with other oils to help it penetrate and absorb. Jojoba oil is a perfect match. Unlike any other natural oil, Jojoba has the unique ability to ‘mimic’ your skin’s natural sebum, so it will penetrate deep into the skin layers – taking all those healing nutrients with it. You’ll get twice the bang as Jojoba naturally contains its own balance of natural vitamins A, D, and E – and is also safe for pregnancy and puberty.
- Tocopherol – a Vitamin E, this really depends on the elasticity of your skin to begin with. Just like any moisturizer, regular use will gradually improve the texture of your skin, so use it often.
- Retinyl Palmitate – Vitamin A oil or a retinoid product (a vitamin-A-based ingredient) stimulate cell turnover and collagen production. Never take vitamin A orally or use retinol products when pregnant or nursing. Retinol is one of the only proven ways to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and make skin look more youthful. Vitamin A and retinol products can be prescribed by a dermatologist, usually for acne. You’ll pay more for a higher concentration, but you may also see more skin irritation with a stronger product.
