USD $18.00

Brand:Fixderma

Skarfix-Plus® cream is the best treatment for hyperpigmentation and scars polishing. A powerful cream to effectively diminish the appearance of Melasma, PIE, PIH, and hyperpigmentation. It reduces hyperpigmentation, melasma, acne scars, lightens freckles, and provides UV protection. Skarfix-Plus® cream’s mechanism is based on the inhibition of tyrosinase, a basic enzyme in the melanin formation process. The cream is non-steroidal, non-comedogenic, with sun protection.

Skarfix-Plus® cream is made with Kojic Acid with a therapeutic percentage of 2 % which is considered the safest option in treating melasma. It reduces the activity of melanocyte tyrosinase thereby treating melasma, UV-induced hyperpigmentation, and other post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Arbutin is a natural depolarizing agent ideal for stubborn dark spots that do not respond to other skin lightening agents. Arbutin dramatically reduces dark spots and blemishes for brighter, even-looking skin.

Description

What is Skarfix-Plus® Cream?

Melasma is a difficult skin issue to treat. Generally, a single ingredient is not capable to show significant results. Skarfix-Plus® is a blend of multiple anti hyperpigmentation actives which work synergistically to give desired results. Kojic acid along with Arbutin is the most acclaimed actives which help to even out the darkened skin. Vitamin C and E help to increase the absorption of these actives and can help scavenge and counteract skin-damaging free radicals caused by exposure to things such as UV damage and pollution.

How to use Skarfix-Plus® Cream

  • Apply on the affected skin area after proper cleansing by gently tapping it on the skin
  • With a circular motion, evenly spread the Skarfix Plus cream and allow your skin to absorb it
  • For best results apply in the morning and evening

The main ingredients of Skarfix-Plus® Cream

Kojic Acid removes dead skin cells, oil, dirt, and organisms that might be thriving on your skin. It reveals a newer skin layer and aids in reducing melanin production. Kojic acid is a natural crystal-like substance produced by some species of fungi, especially Aspergillus Oryzae. Kojic acid inhibits and prevents the formation of tyrosine, which is an amino acid that’s needed to produce melanin. Kojic acid can have a lightening effect because it inhibits the production of melanin and helps to fade dark spots and discoloration. It also delivers some antioxidant protection. Even though kojic acid has been declared a safe ingredient for cosmetic use.

Arbutin works by inhibiting tyrosinase activity that limits the melanin production in your skin. Less tyrosine and less melanin lead to lesser pigmentation, dark spots, and a more even complexion. Be it age spots, acne scars, or post-blemish redness, alpha arbutin minimizes it all. Arbutin is a choice brightening ingredient because it’s a derivative of hydroquinone, one of the most effective skin-lightening and spot-fading actives out there.

Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a water-soluble derivative of Vitamin C. It is more stable in water but is less potent than direct L-Ascorbic Acid. Magnesium ascorbyl phosphate is a form of vitamin C that is used in skincare products for its ability to protect the skin from free radicals, stimulate collagen production, reduce hyperpigmentation, and maintain skin hydration. Form of vitamin C that is considered stable and is an effective antioxidant for skin. This form of vitamin C is also known to increase skin’s hydration levels as well as being effective for calming factors in skin that can lead to excess oil and signs of sensitization.

Octinoxate, also called Octyl methoxycinnamate or OMC is a chemical commonly used in cosmetic and skincare products around the world. OMC is known to block UV-B rays, can also help your skin to better absorb other ingredients. OMC helps to de-tan the skin and acts as a skin protector to skin.

Tatanium Dioxide works as a UV filtering ingredient in Skarfix plus cream. It helps protect a person’s skin by blocking the absorption of the sun’s ultraviolet light that can cause sunburn. Titanium dioxide does not penetrate through healthy skin and poses no local or systemic risk to human health from skin exposure. If your skin is prone to unwanted acne and blemishes, titanium dioxide is a great sunscreen solution for acne-prone skin. Because it is scaled down into much smaller nanoparticles than zinc oxide, it’s lighter weight and doesn’t clog pores.

Tocopheryl Acetate is a specific type of vitamin E, in a class of organic chemical compounds known as tocopherols. Vitamin E protects the skin from harmful UV rays and maintains its vitality. Vitamin E may also have an anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. Due to its higher stability, Tocopheryl acetate is also used in vitamin E dietary supplements. The antioxidants in vitamin E are known to protect the cell from damage that naturally occurs from free radicals. These free radicals are formed in the body during normal processes (such as energy production). Tocopheryl acetate is a natural tocopherol and one of the most potent antioxidants tocopherols.
