What is Ecosprin® Acetylsalicylic Acid Tablet?
Ecosprin® Acetylsalicylic Acid Tablet is a newly developed Aspirin that is mainly used to experience anti-inflammation and antiplatelet effects. The dose of the administration will determine its action within human blood circulation. Aspirin can act as an antiplatelet agent when taken in lower quantities. High amounts exceeding 325mg can provide analgesic effects to the consumer.
Ecosprin® Acetylsalicylic Acid Tablet works as a blood thinner and is used in small doses to reduce the risk of blood clots forming. It prevents platelets from sticking together thereby preventing the formation of harmful blood clots. This means you are less likely to suffer from angina, a heart attack, a stroke, or other blockages of blood vessels. It is likely to be prescribed if you have a high risk of cardiovascular disease and should be taken regularly (usually for the rest of your life) to have a preventive effect.
The doctor may prescribe antiplatelet agents when you risk forming blood clots. Blood clots are dangerous, and they can block small blood vessels leading to organ ischemia. How to take Ecosprin tablets?

Swallow the prescribed dose of the medication with a full glass of water. Try to stay in an upright position for at least two hours after the consumption. If you feel upset, try to consume the tablet with or after consuming food.
As Ecosprin tablets are enteric-coated tablets, there is no use in chewing or crushing the tablet. To obtain the benefits from the enteric coat try to swallow the tablet as a whole. If the tablet is an extended-release tablet, the tablet is designed to release the constant dose of aspirin to the bloodstream slowly. So in such cases, avoid crushing and chewing the tablet. The sudden release of the whole dose may be dangerous, and the long-term effect can’t be received.
Store the tablets in a cool, dry place and avoid exposure to direct sunlight. Keep the tablets away from children.
Side effects of Ecosprin tablets
Aspirin tablets are made of an active ingredient called asprin. The active ingredient may result in a few side effects:
- Upset stomach
- Heartburn sensation
- Bleeding and bruising
- Hearing impairments
- Ringing in ears
- Nausea and vomiting
- Dark urine and change the volume of urine
- Jaundice features
Some of these side effects may disappear with time. But if the side effects disturb your everyday lifestyle, contact the physician to obtain more advice.
The heartburn sensation can be prevented by avoiding the lying position after tablet consumption. An upset stomach can be controlled by consuming the tablet with milk or foods.
Precautions:

- Avoid consuming other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and Ecosprin as it can lead to severe gastric bleeding.
- Avoid using herbal medications orally with Ecosprin tablets.
