What is Pyosan® Gum Paint for Inflamed Sore Gums?
Pyosan® Gum Paint is a topical solution that contains antiseptic agents combined with tanning agents. It is applied orally locally on gums in severe bacterial infections and inflammatory conditions. Take Pyosan gum paint on the fingertip and apply it to the affected gum.
Pyosan® Gum Paint contains Potassium Iodide and Iodine that act as antiseptic and anti-infective and kill bacteria. Tannic acid acts as an astringent that causes contraction and prevents bleeding of the soft tissues making them firm. Menthol acts as a local analgesic (relieves pain) and gives the sensation of coolness which gives some relief from the pain. Camphor acts as a mild analgesic, which provides relief from pain. Thymol acts as an antiseptic and antibacterial property, thus reducing oral infections. It is indicated in the treatment of painful gum disorders, inflamed and bleeding gums, teething pain, and irritation, and stomatitis (inflammation of the mucous lining of the mouth).
