What is Meini® HIFU High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Device?

The very high-intensity and highly focused sound waves of Meini® HIFU High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Device interact with targeted tissues in your body to modify or destroy them.

It’s similar to how a magnifying glass focuses sunlight on a target. In HIFU, many beams of ultrasound focus on the exact tissue area that requires treatment. The highly focused energy from the ultrasound causes the temperature of the tissue to rise, and the heat destroys (ablates) the targeted tissue area.

Meini® HIFU High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Device has three different working heads for different operational areas:

1.5mm is for the epidermis layer
3.0mm is for the dermis layer
4.5mm is for the SMAS layer

How to use Meini® HIFU High-Intensity Focused Ultrasound Device

First, skin cleaning. Then, take a photo and mark the treated skin area.
Next, put gel as a conductor between the transmitter and the skin.
Mark the treating area, such as around the chin, neck, and both sides of the plane.
Also, a smooth handpiece delivers highly focused ultrasound energy which safely heats up the subcutaneous layer at a designated depth. Besides, the patient will give feedback on the intensity of heat so that the procedure does not become uncomfortable or painful whilst achieving optimum results.
