  • Use only as directed by your doctor
  • Applying more medicine will not improve acne faster

  • Your doctor may change your dose if you have skin irritation

Wash your hands before applying this medication. Gently clean the affected skin with a mild or soapless cleanser and pat dry. Apply a small amount of gel in a thin layer, usually once daily at bedtime or as directed by your doctor. Patients should wait 20-30 minutes after cleaning their face before applying this medication.

Avoid getting this medication in your eyes. If this medication gets into your eyes, flush with large amounts of water. Wash your hands after using the medication to avoid accidentally getting it in your eyes.

Use it regularly in order to get the most benefit from it. To help you remember, use it at the same time each day. Do not use a larger amount or use it more frequently than recommended. Your skin will not improve any faster, and it will increase the risk of developing redness, peeling, and pain.

I used it 3 days and it burned my skin badly. It’s painful and made red blotches, much stronger than Retin-A Micro 0.05, I think it is 0.1% or higher, I started to use it once a week to avoid burns, overall good.

Used Retin-A in a combination with topical and oral antibiotics for several years. I now have clear skin, with very minor blemishes of any kind. This medication is used to treat acne. It may decrease the number and severity of acne pimples and promote quick healing of pimples that do develop. Tretinoin belongs to a class of medications called retinoids. It works by affecting the growth of skin cells. Please don’t use it when you pregnant.

I have suffered from acne since my early teens and Retin-A is one of the only products that has worked for me. It’s not a quick fix and took over a month to show results

I was on Tretinoin .05% gel for about 12 weeks. At first my skin got much worse (which I expected), but then it seemed to be getting better until about 2-3 two weeks ago,
