How to use Terbinafine 250mg Gris ODT®
- Read the Medication guide provided by your doctor before you start taking terbinafine and each time you get a refill. If you have any questions, ask your doctor.
- Take this medication by mouth with or without food, usually once a day or as directed by your doctor. Dosage and length of treatment is based on your medical condition and response to treatment.
- It may take several months after you finish treatment to see the full benefit of this drug. It takes time for your new healthy nails to grow out and replace the infected nails.
- Continue to take this medication until the full prescribed amount is finished. Stopping the medication too early may allow the fungus to continue to grow, which may result in a return of the infection.

I take terbinafine 500mg per day. My course period is 6 to 8 weeks. But I end my course within 6 weeks. Works well with cream

So far my experience with terbinafine has been a love/intense dislike type thing. I have initially prescribed it because of severe athletes’ feet for 2 weeks. I went back to the doctor’s office for a checkup and he prescribed it again. The first 2 weeks everything was fine. I’m in the 2nd week of the re-prescription and the side effects are a mess. I’ve been having mild headaches, occasional liver pain, and occasional bloating. None of the side effects are just horrendous but I feel as if I need to discontinue the medicine before it gets bad. Meanwhile, my feet have been getting better and the fungus is 95% healed.
