Diclofenac 4% gel is a pain reliever in the drug class NSAID (a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug).

Diclofenac is often used to treat pain, tenderness, swelling, and stillness resulting from osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, or ankylosing spondylitis (a form of arthritis that primarily affects the spine), menstrual or other pains. Diclofenac gel is sometimes used to treat actinic keratosis, a skin condition that may become cancerous if not treated.

Diclofenac is primarily used to treat inflammatory pain rather than the pain caused by trauma. In addition to being painful themselves, inflamed body parts, such as the disks in your spine, can put pressure on other areas and cause pain.

Diclofenac topical (for the skin) is used to treat joint pain caused by osteoarthritis. Diclofenac topical is for use on the hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, or feet. Diclofenac topical may not be effective in treating arthritis pain elsewhere in the body. Diclofenac topical may also be used for purposes not listed in this medication guide.

Nacnano Gel is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used for the relief of joint pain of osteoarthritis. Nacnano majorly contains Diclofenac 4%. Diclofenac works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain and inflammation. Nacnano Gel is used to treat joint pain caused by arthritis in the hands, wrists, elbows, knees, ankles, or feet. Nacnano Gel may not be effective in treating arthritis pain elsewhere in the body. Nacnano Gel is a smooth, nongreasy gel with a light fragrance that goes away shortly after it is applied. Take some Nacnano gel and apply to the affected joint, massage to ensure appropriate application.
