Description
What is Minimalist® Alpha Lipoic (ALA) 02% Face Cream?
Alpha-Lipoic Acid (ALA) is a powerful antioxidant and rapidly penetrates the stratum corneum. It protects skin cells & regenerates other antioxidants, such as vitamin E and vitamin C in the skin, making the skin look more healthy, bright & smooth.
Formulated with stabilized Vitamin C derivative “Ethyl Ascorbic Acid” (EAA) that has 86% pure Vitamin C content.
Contains Fullerenes (C60), a new generation antioxidant (the scientists who discovered Fullerenes were awarded Nobel Prize). It is several times more potent than Vitamin C and has strong, long-lasting, and stable anti-oxidative activity.
Boosted with Astaxanthin, another powerful antioxidant prevents UV-induced skin damage and improves skin tone & texture.
Formulated with best ingredients sourced from leading global suppliers. Our Vitamin C (Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) comes from Corum Inc, Taiwan, and Fullerenes from Vitamin C60 BioResearch Corporation, Japan.
- Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA): A powerful antioxidant that is proven to provide protection against free radicals produced by exposure to ultraviolet radiation. Alpha Lipoic Acid is both lipid-soluble and water-soluble and can therefore reach all portions of the cell to provide antioxidant protection.
- Ethyl Ascorbic Acid: Proven antioxidant that visibly brightens dull skin and fades dark spots.
- Fullerenes (Carbon 60 or C60): A new-age molecule with strong antioxidant properties to address several skin issues like dullness, UV damage, and aging.

Nora Abrams –
You can use this product day or night. It won’t clog your pores or irritate your skin, which is especially important if you have sensitive skin. You should use this after cleansing your face and neck, and after applying a serum or cream such as an oil-free gel moisturizer cream as stated in the instructions. This is not cream is not meant to add a lot of moisture to your skin. You can use a water-drench hyaluronic acid cream, which is non-greasy and will do the trick. This cream doesn’t contain Retinol and it’s not a miracle serum if that’s what you’re looking for. It’s for those of us who want to retain our skin as is and for others who are seeking to make some minor improvements. If you have a lot of wrinkles or crow feet this cream isn’t for you. It’s also important to mention that lifestyle choice such as smoking, consuming a lot of alcohol, drinking lots of coffee and tanning frequently ages your skin and increases your chances of getting wrinkles. None of which we do.
