Meloset containing the active ingredient melatonin is a synthetic version of a hormone that is produced in the brain. How to take Melatonin 3mg Tablets Generic Transzone | Meloset®
The dosage and the drug form depend on the age, weight and medical condition of an individual. Take Meloset 3mg Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Swallow the tablet whole. Do not crush or chew the tablet. Take the drug with or without food. However, taking the drug with food prevents stomach upset.
Use of Meloset 3mg Tablet for Jet Lag:
- If you are traveling towards the east, you must take Meloset 3mg Tablet after dark and 30 minutes before bedtime. Then, you must continue this for at least 4 nights in the new time zone.
- If you are traveling towards the west, a dose is not required for the first traveling night. You must take the drug 30 minutes before bedtime for the next 4 nights.
The overdose symptoms of Meloset 3mg Tablet may include: Nightmares, Vivid dreams at night, Irritability or anxiety, Joint pain.
