WHAT IS MELAGLOW NATURAL SKIN BRIGHTENING & LIGHTENING CREAM
Melaglow cream is the brand name for a strong natural skin lightening and brightening cream, usually prescribed for the treatment of hyper-pigmentation of skin and lightening the complexion of skin. The active ingredients present in Melaglow skin lightening cream and their composition is the following:
- Avobenzone — 0.05% w/w
- Soya Isoflavonoids — 0.1% w/w
- Glabridin — 0.05% w/v
- Tetrahydro curcuminoid — 0.05% w/w
HOW DOES MELAGLOW NATURAL SKIN BRIGHTENING & LIGHTENING CREAM WORK
Avobenzone was introduced in the 1990s and is a common chemical sunscreen component. Unlike other chemical sunscreens that just protect from the sunburn-causing UVB rays, avobenzone also protects from UVA rays, the rays that cause premature aging and skin cancer. Avobenzone is a hydroquinone derivative sun-screening chemical. It works by discoloring spots and freckles on skin. It also prevents the spots caused by exposure to ultraviolet rays. Hydroquinone has a reversible depigmentation effect on the skin. The accumulation of melanin, the skin pigment which causes skin darkening, is reduced by its bleaching effect. The synthesis of Melanin along with some important processes which result in the formation of Melanin inside the cells get inhibited by hydroquinone.
Soya Isoflavonoids (Genistein and Daidzein) is a plant chemical, similar to female hormone estrogen. It helps in rejuvenating new skin cells. Soya Isoflavonoid is a compound found in a wide variety of foods, but mostly soy, that affect a wide-variety of body systems. They seem to mimic the female hormone estrogen to a degree (although slightly different). They generally are good at cardioprotection from reducing lipoprotein levels and are seen as good for bone health in the aging as well. Isoflavonoids is a natural skin bleaching ingredient which blocking the skin pigment cells melanocytes.
Glabridin is also an isoflavonoid, it is a chemical compound that is found in the root extract of licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra). Glabridin is an isoflavane, a type of isoflavonoid. This product is part of a larger family of plant-derived molecules, the natural phenols. Glabridin inhibits tyrosinase activity of these cells at concentrations of 0.1 to 1.0 microg/ml and had no detectable effect on their DNA synthesis. Combined analysis of SDS-polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis and DOPA staining on the large granule fraction of these cells disclosed that glabridin decreased specifically the activities of T1 and T3 tyrosinase isozymes. It was also shown that UVB-induced pigmentation and erythema in the skins of guinea pigs were inhibited by topical applications of 0.5% glabridin. Anti-inflammatory effects of glabridin in vitro were also shown by its inhibition of superoxide anion productions and cyclooxygenase activities. These data indicated that glabridin is a unique compound possessing more than one function; not only the inhibition of melanogenesis but also the inhibition of inflammation in the skins. By replacing each of hydroxyl groups of glabridin with others, it was revealed that the inhibitory effect of 2′-O-ethyl glabridin was significantly stronger than that of 4′-O-ethyl-glabridin on melanin synthesis in cultured B16 cells at the concentration of 1.0 mg/ml. With replacement of both of two hydroxyl groups, the inhibitory effect was totally lost. Based on these data, we concluded that two hydroxyl groups of glabridin are important for the inhibition of melanin synthesis and that the hydroxyl group at the 4′ position of this compound is more closely related to melanin synthesis.
Tetrahydro Curcuminoid has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. It helps in reducing the pigmentation. Tetrahydro Curcuminoid is used for Antioxidant action, Anti-inflammatory action, Skin-lightening action, Free radical formation prevention and other conditions. This salt may also be used for purposes not listed in this description. This ingredient has superior skin-whitening abilities. Tetrahydrocurcumin was shown to result “in the significant neutralization of free radicals,” and yielded better results than other compounds in the tested group. It also had the strongest antioxidant activity among all curcuminoids, and showed anti-inflammatory potential.
