Mandelic acid has been found to be more effective than glycolic acid. Salicylic acid is a beta hydroxy acid that is traditionally used in the treatment of acne. It’s well-known for reducing acne by exfoliating the skin and keeping pores clean. Azelaic acid clears the pores of bacteria that may be causing irritation or breakouts and has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Active ingredients of the Mandefix® Gentle Foaming Face Cleanser
Mandelic acid is an α-hydroxy acid with reported benefits in treating acne and hyperpigmentation. It is derived from bitter almonds. It is an anti-aging ingredient and non-irritating AHA which works to accelerate cell turnover by dissolving the tiny bonds that hold skin cells together and is a powerful exfoliant to remove dead skin cells which help to regulate sebum production, unclog pores, and reduce inflammation. It has antibacterial and anti-microbial properties so it’s a good one for rosacea sufferers too. It purges the skin of dead skin cells, which can lead to wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, and acne, among other conditions.
Salicylic acid is used to deeply exfoliate the surface layers of the skin. It breaks the bonds that hold the skin’s cells together, causing them to shed away or peel. As the skin regenerates, it is rejuvenated. Salicylic acid is best known for its ability to deep clean excess oil out of pores & perfect for oily skin because it keeps pores clean and unclogged. It also prevents future whiteheads and blackheads from developing.
Azelaic acid is a part of the family of dicarboxylic acids, naturally occurring acid that comes from barley, rye grains, and wheat. Azelaic acid is an efficient molecule for the topical treatment of mild to moderate inflammatory acne vulgaris. It clears the pores of bacteria that may be causing irritation or breakouts and has antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties, which make it effective in the treatment of skin conditions like acne. The acid can prevent future outbreaks and clean bacteria from your pores that cause acne.
Tea Tree Oil is a popular choice for treating acne because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It’s thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It may even help to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smooth, clear skin. Tea tree oil exerts antioxidant activity and accelerates the wound healing process.
Proteol APL a naturally inspired, mild foaming agent for creamy and soft foam. It is derived from the amino acids of fresh apples from nature, which benefits the skin in multiple ways. It provides a dense, abundant & stable foam and an excellent eye & skin tolerance formula. Apple amino acids help to boost the cleansing power of other ingredients, working in synergy to gently whisk away dirt, toxins, and oils by generating a rich lather with a hint of moisture.
Amino acids from apples – especially aspartic and glutamic acids, support the skin’s delicate collagen and elastin protein cells, not only fighting off free radical activity but also helping to boost the production of these cells that are so essential to the skin’s youth, helping to reduce sagging, fine lines and wrinkles while supporting a healthier, more radiant glow.
Colalipid C, chemically described as Cocamidopropyl Phosphatidyl PG-Dimonium Chloride. It belongs to a family of products that are multifunctional, natural triglyceride phospholipids similar to phospholipids that occur naturally in the body. Coconut oil-derived phospholipid is composed predominantly of diester and triester phosphatides with multiple chain groups. A broad range of functional attributes including gentle cleansing and foaming properties. It has an anti-irritation effect when combined with anionic surfactants, with unusually high substantivity. Provides long-lasting skin conditioning, and broad-spectrum antimicrobial activity.

Salicylic acid in this cleanser makes it the best for acneic skin. Further, it is very gentle on my skin. I have acne prone oily skin and it reduces my acne and inflammation. I use it 3-4 times a week and it prevents acne breakouts even weeks after stopping using it.
