WHAT IS KOJIGLO FORTE INTENSIVE SKIN HYPERPIGMENTATION CREAM

Kojiglo Forte Cream is made by reputable Alkem Labs Pharmaceuticals and it contains strong skin bleaching / depigmenting components such as Allantoin, Ascorbic acid, Hydroquinone, Kojic acid, Niacinamide, Pine bark extract, Tetrahydrocurcuminoids, and Tetrahydropiperine for intensive skin hyperpigmentation treatment. Kojic acid reduces melanin production in the deeper layers of the skin. Pine bark extract reduces skin wrinkles and increase skin smoothness, along with other skin benefits. Tetrahydrocurcuminoids helps in fading of dark skin. Hydroquinone inhibits melanin production and has potent antioxidant abilities. Allantoin keeps the skin soft, smooth, and healthy and also helps protect the skin against various irritants. Niacinamide reduces the appearance of the most common signs of aging on the skin.

KEY INGREDIENTS OF KOJIGLO FORTE INTENSIVE SKIN HYPERPIGMENTATION CREAM

Allantoin 0.4% – Allantoin helps to soften and protect while actively soothing skin. It also stimulates cell regeneration promoting healthy skin. It comes from an extract from the root of the comfrey plant and is a soothing, non-irritating ingredient that has the ability to help heal the skin and stimulate the growth of healthy tissue. It works as an effective skin softener.

Ascorbic acid 2% – ascorbic acid or vitamin c skin lightening products works by slowing down melanin production. Vitamin C inhibits the enzyme tyrosinase. By doing this, less melanin pigments are produced. Studies show that Vitamin C works mainly on pigments surrounding hair follicles. Vitamin C also acts as an antioxidant. It fights free radicals that cause skin aging and darkening. It also increases the levels of glutathione and Vitamin E in your body. These two are strong antioxidants as well. Glutathione also works by making the skin produce Pheomelanin instead of the darker Eumelanin. Many studies show that topical Vitamin C repairs damaged skin when applied after sun exposure. Vitamin C acts as a mild exfoliant. By getting rid of dead skin cells, which contain melanin, the skin becomes smoother and lighter.

Hydroquinone 2% – Hydroquinone cream is probably the most well-known name in skin lightening and it’s no wonder why – it is a highly effective bleaching agent proven to be effective in whitening the skin and fading hyper-pigmentation caused by freckles, melasma, age spots and acne scars. But it’s also a skin-lightening ingredient as controversial as it is effective. Strongly recommended not have to use hydroquinone longer than 3-4 monts in a row, recommended to make a breaks and use more natural components during breaks like kojic acid creams and azelaic acid creams.

Kojic acid 2% – Kojic acid is an effective treatment for the lightening of skin and has similar effectiveness as another commonly used skin lightening agent, hydroquinone. Kojic acid is relatively unstable, which means that it will react with oxygen and sunlight, causing it to change as a chemical compound. As a result, kojic acid is often packaged as kojic acid dipalmitate, which is a modified form of kojic acid. Kojic acid is a compound that is commonly derived from various fungi. Kojic acid is often used as a skin lightening agent because of its effects on a protein known as tyrosinase. Kojic acid works by preventing a specific function of tyrosinase called its catecholase function. The important thing to understand about the catecholase function is that it is the most important step in making the compound melanin. Melanin is the primary pigment in skin. Thus, by inhibiting the tyrosinase protein’s ability to make melanin, kojic acid is able to prevent skin pigmentation, which can help lighten the skin’s tone.

Niacinamide 4% – Niacinamide (Vitamin B3 retinoid) has been studied in order to identify its benefits to the skin. Studies show that niacinamide is very beneficial when applied topically. It possesses anti-aging and rejuvenating effects. It also fades age spots, lightens and whitens the skin because of its ability to treat hyper pigmentation. Even heat and light does not affect it. It remains potent in formulated products. As a skin lightening agent, niacinamide effectively reduces areas of jagged pigmentation and age spots. Because of its strong lightening proficiency and its soothing nature on the skin, niacinamide is a first-rate solution to pigmentation control without the harmful side effects commonly associated with many other skin lightening agents. It is a plus point for it.

Pine bark extract 6% – Pycnogenol® is the brand name for an extract derived from the bark of the French maritime pine tree, grown over the coastal region of South west France. The extract contains bioflavonoids and proanthocyanidins, which are also found in fresh fruits and vegetables. Both these components are known to possess antioxidant properties and are thought to have anti-carcinogenic (anti-cancer) properties as well. When it comes to skin care, Pycnogenol® is incorporated into formulations for its antioxidant ability to help fight against free radicals, which can damage our cells, including those in skin. Pycnogenol’s antioxidant ability is thought to be 20 times stronger than Vitamin C and 50 times stronger than Vitamin E.

Skin care experts recommend using Pycnogenol® to help break up and fade brown spots caused by aging, sun damage or past acne. Additionally, it’s been shown to bind and protect collagen, the protein that keeps the skin tight and smooth. Pycnogenol® improved skin elasticity and hydration in 20 postmenopausal women who took Pycnogenol supplements or used creams with it for 12 weeks. Because of its anti-inflammatory properties, i also reduces redness and irritation.

Tetrahydrocurcuminoids 0.25% – This skin whitening Kojiglo Forte cream formulation is a prototype formula that features Tetrahydrocurcuminoids, color-free compounds derived from the yellow curcuminoids (the biologically active principles extracted from the rhizomes of Curcuma longa) that have superior antioxidant properties, anti-inflammatory action, and skin lightening action through the inhibition of tyrosinas, the same action as hydroquinone but not chemically derived.

Tetrahydropiperine 0.05% – also known as Cosmoperine® or Tetrahydropiperine (THP), prepared from piperine (found in black pepper and long pepper) by a patented proprietary process. It acts as a penetration enhancer, increasing the absorption of drugs and nutrients through the skin. Cosmetic active ingredients have enhanced permeation, enhancing their effectiveness. Its use in improving the skin penetration of active compounds is also covered by the patent. This product is non-irritating to the skin, GMO free and Kosher.
