Fungal infections, commonly known as mycoses, are common infections that may cause redness, itching, and sometimes blisters. A fungus is a primitive organism. Some fungi reproduce through tiny spores in the air. You can inhale the spores or they can land on you. As a result, fungal infections often start in the lungs or on the skin. You are more likely to get a fungal infection if you have a weakened immune system or take antibiotics. Fungi can be difficult to kill. For skin and nail infections, you can apply KZ Ketoconazole 2% Topical Cream directly to the infected area.


HOW TO USE KZ KETOCONAZOLE 2% FUNGICIDE CREAM

Use KZ Ketoconazole 2% Cream on the skin only for fungus treatment. Clean and thoroughly dry the area to be treated. Apply KZ cream to the affected skin, usually once or twice a day, or as directed by your dermatologist. Dosage and length of treatment depend on the type of infection being treated. Do not apply this more often than prescribed. Your condition will not clear faster, but side effects may be increased. Apply enough KZ Cream to cover the affected skin and some of the surrounding skin. After applying KZ Ketoconazole 2% Cream, wash your hands. Do not apply this medication in the eyes, nose, mouth, or vagina.


SIDE EFFECTS OF KZ KETOCONAZOLE 2% ANTI-FUNGAL CREAM

Stinging, swelling, irritation, or redness of the treated skin may occur. If any of these effects persist or worsen, notify your dermatologist promptly. Remember that your dermatologist has prescribed Ketoconazole 2% because he or she has judged that the benefit to you is greater than the risk of side effects. Many people using this medication and do not have any serious side effects.

Before using Ketoconazole 2% topically, tell your dermatologist if you are allergic to it; or to other azole antifungals such as clotrimazole, econazole, or miconazole; or if you have any other allergies. This product may contain inactive ingredients, which can cause allergic reactions or other problems.
