Keralin® Ointment in treatment of psoriasis. Psoriasis is a skin problem in which skin cells build up and form scales and dry patches which are itchy and painful. Applying Keralin Ointment helps manage psoriasis as well as other symptoms like pain, redness, swelling, or irritation associated with it. It also moisturizes the skin and makes it soft and smooth. Clean and dry the affected area before applying Keralin Ointment. Use it at least 2-3 times a day or as prescribed. You may see a change in your skin appearance after a few weeks.

Keralin Ointment is a combination of three medicines: Benzoic Acid, Hydrocortisone, and Salicylic Acid. Benzoic Acid is an antiseptic. Hydrocortisone is a steroid that blocks the production of certain chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that make the skin red, swollen, and itchy. Salicylic Acid is a keratolytic medicine that breaks down keratin clumps, removes dead skin cells, and softens the skin. It also enhances the absorption of Hydrocortisone into the skin.

Keralin Ointment is a combination medicine that is used to treat psoriasis. It removes dead skin cells and softens the skin. It also minimizes symptoms of inflammation such as skin redness, swelling, and itching. It may cause side effects like dry skin, irritation, itching, and redness.

Keralin Ointment is only meant for external use and should be used as advised by your doctor.
