Levosalbutamol is a drug that belongs to a drug class called beta two adrenoceptor agonists. The drug molecules get attached to the beta two receptors and activate the action of the beta receptors. The intracellular calcium level drops when the beta receptors get activated, making the bronchioles relaxed. As a result, the bronchioles get open and allow the air to move in. levosalbutamol will act alone the entire airways starting from the trachea to the terminal bronchioles.
Ipratropium Bromide is an anticholinergic agent and antagonist in the action of acetylcholine. Acetylcholine is a significant neurotransmitter released by the Vagus nerve. Therefore acetylcholine combines with another process to release calcium to the intracellular space. But by blocking the release of acetylcholine, the intracellular calcium level can be controlled.
Duolin® Rotacaps are recommended to use during chronic phases. Therefore the best results can’t be achieved during acute relapses. For the best results, it is recommended to use the Duolin® Rotacaps regularly. Patients will be possible to experience some relief a few days after the usage, but the maximum results can be experienced after a week.
