I’m from the Philippines and this cream has been recommended by the pediatrician of my 3 weeks old daughter who had skin allergy/eczema possibly of the mussels I ate and passed it on her through my breastmilk since I’m exclusively breastfeeding. After she took a bath, I applied a very small amount on the affected area (both arms) which she reacted a little bit too since this ointment can have a mild burning sensation, after a few minutes the oozing area was dry and the redness was fading. I’m very glad this ointment is effective since it’s quite expensive for our region.

My daughter got eczema on her face at 10 months old. It was miss diagnosed until she was 12 months old. And by then she had huge basically open sores on 3 parts of her face. As soon as we were prescribed desonide her face cleared up within the week. And has stayed clear for over 6 months. The delivery took 4 weeks from the okdermo, it is quite long timeframe for such a sensitive medicateion!

This has been my silver bullet medication for dermatitis. I recently got a rash on my inside elbow. After the doc prescribed betamethasone, it got worse; so, a dermatologist prescribed triamcinolone acetonide. This didn’t do much, but it went back to its original redness (not bright red). After a few days of this & itching, I got fed up and pulled out an old prescription for Desonide Dosetil gel. Even though my rash was a dry rash, I put it on and it helped finally! The rash went from red to pink. After the 2nd dose, it went from pink to skin color and the itching stopped. I used the other ointment to coddle it along until it was gone. Thank you okdermo for an affordable substitute to an expensive brand!

  4. Lashae B.

I had a rash mostly on my forehead and some around the nose. It itched a little but was not going away. Finally went to the dermatologist and she prescribed desonide to be applied twice a day, within 2 days I have noticed a great improvement, the rash is fading. Still don’t know the cause but am happy this is working! the best price I could find with the delivery to the US is okdermo, awesome!
