Hydromax CT® cream is manufactured by reputable Ethicare Remedies that is formulated for maximum hydrating feel with a high concentration of occlusive agents Salicylic acid and Coal tar, that lock in moisture for a longer time:
- Coal Tar – helps slow down the rapid growth of skin cells and restore the skin’s appearance and also reduces the inflammation, itching, and scaling of psoriasis. This medication is used on the skin to treat the itching, scaling, and flaking due to skin conditions such as psoriasis or seborrheic dermatitis. Coal tar belongs to a class of drugs known as keratoplasty. It works by causing the skin to shed dead cells from its top layer and slow down the growth of skin cells. This effect decreases scaling and dryness. Coal tar can also decrease itchiness from these skin conditions.
- Salicylic Acid – acts as a scale lifter, helping to soften and remove psoriasis scales. Specially prepared base considering Psoriasis, Eczema, and Ichthyosis. The National Eczema Association recommend using a cream containing salicylic acid and sulfur or coal tar as part of the treatment for seborrheic dermatitis, a form of eczema that primarily affects the upper back, nose, and scalp.
The Hydromax CT is a light brown colored cream. It’s color to be the outcome of a gentle mix of cocoa butter and coal tar as its ingredients. The consistency of the cream is absolutely appropriate for the purpose of richness. It’s neither runny not overly thick that takes extra effort to scoop out of the jar, light but not very pleasant medical fragrance.
In the first application, the cream felt as greasy like petroleum jelly. But as it got absorbed into the skin in a minute or so, felt extremely moisturizing. It left the top surface of skin quite smooth and imparted a healthy glow to it. Its staying power is too good. The lubrication on skin remains effective for almost good 5-6 hours, that is quite impressive.
