WHAT IS CLEARZ ULTRA GEL
Clearz Ultra® Gel, developed by Dr.Reddy’s Laboratories, is an effective and natural derived skin lightening cream enriched with strong chemical sunscreen agents for skin ultraviolet protection. Clearz Ultra® Gel contains great and naturally derived skin whitening components like Kojic acid, Arbutin, Octinoxate, Mulberry extract and Vitamin E. Kojic acid reduces melanin production in the deeper layers of the skin and effective in combating skin discoloration. Arbutin is a skin lightening agent. It inhibits melanin formation by tyrosinase inhibition. Mulberry extract is very effective for skin whitening and it has anti-inflammatory properties which promote skin healing. Octinoxate is a sun protective agent, acts as a sunscreen and protects skin from UVB rays induced darkening and damage.
The fixed dose combination of Kojic Acid (chelation agent), Arbutin, Octinoxate, Mulberry extract and Vitamin E is used to treat hyperpigmentation and skin discoloration. Clearz Ultra® Gel decreases blemishes and enhance natural coloration of skin. Octinoxate (Octyl methoxycinnamate) use is in sunscreens and other cosmetics to absorb UV-B rays from the sun, protecting the skin from damage. It is also used to reduce the appearance of scars. Arbutin is a glycoside, a glycosylated hydroquinone extracted from the bearberry plant in the genus Arctostaphylos. It inhibits tyrosinase and thus prevents the formation of melanin. Mulberry extract is incorporated into skin-whitening Clearz Ultra® Gel to reduce dark spots.

Kojic Acid 2% – is an natural alternative to chemically derived hydroquinone substance. Hyperpigmentation, darkening of affected skin, is a common african american skin condition that often follows inflammation, burns, wounds and acne. Body increases production of melanocytes responsible for skin coloration while skin of color is healing. As a result, the affected skin may become darker than normal. Kojic acid is effective as a natural skin-lightening agent. Derived from a fungus, it inhibits melanin production, thus reducing dark scars, age spots and pregnancy or hormone-related hyperpigmentation. Mulberry Root Extract 1% – Mulberry root extract comes from the white Mulberry tree that is native to China, but cultivated in Europe, Japan, Australia and North America.
