How to use Betoact Eyedrops?

The correct application of eyedrops ensures maximum efficiency and reduces undesirable side effects as well as prevents infections. The first step is to clean your hands and your face. Wash your face to remove makeup or cosmetic debris. Contact lenses may absorb preservatives substances in the solution, so make sure you removed them before application.

The bottle tip should not touch your eyes, hands, or any surface. So contamination does not occur.

Tilt your head backward and, with your fingers, pull on the lower eyelid to create a pouch. Gently squeeze on the bottle. So one drop falls on the inner surface of the lower eyelid. To do so, hold the bottle tip as close as possible to the eyes without touching the skin.

Gently close your eyes without forcing them tight-shut. So the product does not spill out.

After application, Betoact eye drops may cause minor side effects such as a sore throat, blurred vision, headache, or a mild taste in the mouth.

Report to your doctor if any of these symptoms persist.

Indication and mechanism of action:

Betoact eyedrops relieve itchiness in the context of allergic eye disease. It soothes and lubricates the eyes as well as reduces swelling and edema.

Allergic conjunctivitis is a common health problem. It is estimated that it affects up to 40% of the American population. The implications reduce life quality and performance.

Management of allergic conjunctivitis relies on symptomatic therapy.

The eyes and nose are particularly prone to allergens because they are exposed to the outside world with not much as only a mucosal barrier to protect them.

There are many triggering allergens, such as mold spores or weed, grass, and tree pollens. Which causes common seasonal allergies, mostly occurring in the spring or early summer.

Other allergens are less common and include dust mites and animal dander.

Conjunctivitis is an inflammation of the thin, outermost layer that covers the white of the eyeballs and the inner side of eyelids. This layer has a rich blood supply. So when inflamed, the blood vessels enlarge to let in immune cells and inflammation mediators. The result is eye swelling, redness as well as itching.

The mediator of itching is histamine. It promotes inflammation and damage to the tissues. The way Betoact eyedrops act is by inhibiting the binding of histamine to its receptor. And thus, it wards off all of its notorious effects.
