USD $23.00

Brand:Cipla

The Beclate inhaler is manufactured with a cortisone-like steroid called Beclomethasone Dipropionate. Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a prodrug that becomes the active metabolite after entering human cells.

Beclomethasone is used to help control the symptoms of asthma and improve breathing. It is used when a patient’s asthma has not been controlled sufficiently with other asthma medicines, or when a patient’s condition is so severe that more than one medicine is needed every day. This medicine will not relieve an asthma attack that has already started.

Beclomethasone belongs to the family of medicines known as corticosteroids or steroids (cortisone-like medicines). It works by preventing certain cells in the lungs and breathing passages from releasing substances that cause asthma symptoms.

1 review for Beclate® Beclomethasone CFC-Free Inhaler

  1. Denya Bayne

I had bronchitis after a cold, treated successfully with antibiotics. But even after the infection cleared I was still coughing, especially with air temperature changes, steam from the shower or certain smells. Saw GP for follow up appointment and he gave me Beclomethasone 100 mcg inhaler, 2 puffs twice daily for this. It really worked well, within 24 hours symptoms improved and after a week back to normal. No side effects noticed, would recommend!
