The Beclate inhaler is manufactured with a cortisone-like steroid called Beclomethasone Dipropionate. Beclomethasone Dipropionate is a prodrug that becomes the active metabolite after entering human cells.

Beclomethasone is used to help control the symptoms of asthma and improve breathing.
