Description

Dedicated skincare, particularly with the potent yet gentle Aziderm Micro® Azelaic Acid Skin Cream, is pivotal to maintaining a healthy, radiant complexion. This cream, enriched with 10, 15, or 20 percent azelaic acid, caters to various skin conditions, including rosacea and acne.

Its active ingredient, azelaic acid, is a naturally occurring acid with proven benefits. Aziderm Micro® offers a powerful blend of azelaic acid, perfect for those seeking to buy azelaic acid 20 online. Its efficacy surpasses many over-the-counter solutions, providing a convenient yet potent solution for skin woes. So, if you’re on the lookout for azelaic acid 20 cream over the counter, Aziderm Micro® might be your perfect companion.

What is Azelaic Acid?

Azelaic acid, a naturally occurring acid derived from grains such as barley and wheat, has proven beneficial in skincare for its anti-inflammatory and anti-bacterial properties. Known to effectively treat acne and rosacea, it helps reduce redness, swelling, and the occurrence of inflammatory papules.

An essential ingredient in products like Aziderm cream, Skinoren gel, and Finacea gel, it gently exfoliates the skin, unblocking pores, and refining skin texture. It is also praised for lightening skin hyperpigmentation. To get the most of azelaic acid benefits, consider azelaic acid 20 cream over the counter or buy azelaic acid 20 online for a more convenient purchase.

An In-depth Look at Azelaic Acid 20

Azelaic Acid 20, an influential player in the skincare domain, has rapidly ascended the ranks due to its impressive versatility and efficacy. This naturally occurring acid is extensively lauded for its prowess in combating several skin conditions, predominantly acne, and rosacea. Clinical trials reveal that it eliminates inflammatory papules and mitigates redness, reinforcing its stance as a potent topical treatment.

The magic behind Azelaic Acid 20’s effectiveness lies in its unique formulation. As a topical cream, its application leaves a thin layer on the skin, gently treating acne and reducing swelling. Moreover, its availability over OKDERMO Online Store amplifies its appeal for those seeking swift, hassle-free solutions to their skin woes. Unlike other peeling agents, it incurs minimal skin reactions, ensuring that the color of your skin remains undisturbed.

As we explore the landscape of beneficial skin treatments, the allure of buying Azelaic Acid 20 becomes even more apparent. Its significant benefits, coupled with the comfort of accessibility, make it a reliable companion in your skincare journey. So, when you decide to buy Azelaic Acid 20 online, you’re not just purchasing a product; you’re investing in a proven path to healthier skin.

Azelaic Acid brand names

Aziderm Micro®, a highly sought-after azelaic acid topical solution, is offered by a range of trusted brands worldwide but they are all the same in strength, composition, formulation, and effectiveness. Azelex, Skinoren, and Finacea are among the leading choices for those seeking to treat conditions such as moderate rosacea and acne.

  • Aziderm is a generic form of Azelex and is known for its high-efficacy cream form. The price tag of Azelex 20 cream can be a little steep, but there are ways to offset this. With Azelex patient assistance programs and Azelex coupons available, this effective treatment becomes more accessible.
  • On the other hand, Skinoren is widely marketed and famed for its visibility over the internet before and after results. Users commonly report significant improvement in their skin conditions, highlighting the effectiveness of Skinoren cream in the realm of acne and rosacea treatment. Aziderm has the same effectiveness and texture as Skinoren.
  • When we look at Finacea, this brand is often chosen for its specialized approach. Finacea Gel has proven to be a dependable ally when other peeling agents fall short. Though minor drug interactions may occur, its performance in managing rosacea is remarkable but absolutely identical to what Aziderm Cream does.

In conclusion, Aziderm Micro® is a generic product with more expensive brand names Azelex, Skinoren, and Finacea. Selecting between them primarily depends on your budget. Aziderm is the cheapest option but it does absolutely the same as famous brands do but without marketing expenses. Regardless of the choice, it’s always crucial to monitor for any allergic reactions and to seek medical attention immediately if any serious side effects occur.

When to Expect Results

Patience is key when expecting results from azelaic acid treatments. A significant improvement in skin conditions such as acne or rosacea usually takes time. As per clinical studies, visible changes start appearing after four weeks of consistent use.

However, it’s important to maintain regular application as prescribed by your healthcare provider. The key to successful treatment is consistency. Remember, your skin’s health transformation is a marathon, not a sprint. With persistence and patience, azelaic acid will work wonders for your skin.

What strength/percent of Azelaic Acid is best?

Determining the appropriate concentration of azelaic acid for optimal skincare results involves considering several factors. Azelaic acid typically comes in three concentrations: 10%, 15%, and 20%.

  • 10% concentration is a great starting point, especially for those with sensitive skin or new to azelaic acid. It can effectively mitigate mild acne and rosacea, offering a gentle introduction to this potent active ingredient.
  • 15% concentration, available in gel forms such as Azelaic Acid 15 Gel and Finacea 15 Gel, or creams like Skinoren Creme, is suited to mild to moderate skin conditions. It strikes a balance between efficacy and tolerability, making it an excellent middle-ground option.
  • 20% concentration, found in Azelex 20 Cream or Aziderm Cream, targets persistent or severe acne and rosacea. Despite its increased potency, it might cause side effects such as dryness or peeling.

The “best” strength is inherently personal and depends on individual skin type, tolerance level, and severity of the skin condition. Always consult a healthcare professional before deciding the appropriate concentration for you. Remember, skincare is not a one-size-fits-all endeavor; it requires patience and personalization.

Can I use Azelaic Acid with Retinol?

Azelaic acid and retinol are two potent components in the skincare world, each serving distinct roles. Azelaic acid is utilized to treat rosacea and acne, while retinol is renowned for its age-defying properties. The question arises, “Can these powerhouses be used together?”

The answer is yes, with some precautions. These ingredients can indeed be combined, leading to comprehensive skincare treatment. Azelaic acid works during the day, reducing redness and swelling, while retinol renews your skin overnight. However, their combined use should be discussed with a healthcare professional.

Safety tips for using these two include:

  • Begin with a lower concentration to see how your skin responds.
  • Apply a thin layer and allow it to absorb fully before applying the other.
  • Always conduct a patch test to check for an allergic reaction.
  • Use a mild soap or cleansing lotion and pat dry the skin before application.
  • Ensure you don’t have an allergic reaction to propylene glycol, often found in these products.

By following these precautions, one can safely harness the benefits of both azelaic acid and retinol for healthier, vibrant skin.

Is azelaic acid better than retinol?

Comparing azelaic acid and retinol, two formidable skincare titans isn’t straightforward. Both combat common skin concerns but target different problems. Azelaic acid excels in reducing inflammation, hyperpigmentation, and acne, thanks to its antibacterial properties. On the other hand, retinol is renowned for its anti-aging abilities, bolstering collagen production, and lessening fine lines and wrinkles. The ‘better’ option pivots on individual skin needs and objectives. Consult a skincare professional before incorporating these potent ingredients into your regimen.

Common Side Effects

Topical treatments like Aziderm 20 Gel or Azelaic Acid 15 Topical Gel can occasionally cause mild side effects as the body adjusts to the medication. These can include:

  1. Burning or stinging sensation upon application
  2. Redness and swelling in the affected areas
  3. Dry skin

Most side effects tend to subside as the body adapts. However, if these symptoms persist or worsen, seek immediate medical attention. Always use the product as directed by your healthcare provider and avoid applying it on irritated or broken skin. Always remember, everyone’s skin reacts differently, so what works well for one person may not work the same for another.

Precautions, when not to use Aziderm® azelaic acid cream/gel

You should not use Aziderm azelaic acid 10% – 20% gel/cream if you are allergic to azelaic acid or propylene glycol. Avoid getting cream or gel in your eyes, nose, mouth, rectum, or vagina. Do not use on sunburned, windburned, dry, chapped, irritated, or broken skin. Wait until these conditions have healed before using this medication. Do not cover the area after applying a cream. Doing so could cause too much medicine to be absorbed by your body and could be harmful. It may take up 4 weeks or longer before your symptoms improve. Keep using Aziderm as directed and tell your doctor if your symptoms do not improve after 12 weeks of treatment.

If you have excessive burning, dryness, or irritation, ask your doctor about using azelaic acid cream/gel once daily. Azelaic acid is not expected to harm an unborn baby. Tell your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant during treatment. It is not known whether azelaic acid passes into breast milk or if it could harm a nursing baby. Do not use azelaic acid 10% – 20% gel/cream without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding.

  • If pregnant, planning to become pregnant, or breastfeeding;
  • Are allergic to azelaic acid or any of Aziderm cream/gel components;
  • Under straight sunlight, skin is very sensitive to the sun after azelaic acid application.

I have suffered from acne all my life and I am now 52 (female). The only pill that helped was Dianette but sadly they took me off it when I was forty due to the increase in risks of blood clots. My acne returned and I have been trying everything available as usual on the market, I even did a dairy free diet as there are links to dairy and acne, but nothing worked. I recently had a real bad outbreak of cystic acne and after looking to the internet saw the reviews for this Azelaic acid 10% cream. I half heartedly bought it thinking it wouldn’t work but had to put my review on, I have only been using for two weeks (I have very sensitive skin) and the results are amazing, all my cystic acne, blackheads have gone and my red scars are gradually diminishing and this cream hasn’t irritated my skin! I am amazed and hope these results continue, I am soooo happy.

  2. Joseph B

    Thank you!

  3. Olive G.

Very fast and easy transaction and shipping.

  4. Nicole Hubbard

I have tried everything for my acne, including two rounds of roaccutane. I’ve tried supplements, antibiotics, contraceptive pills… you get the picture. Since my acne was now moderate rather than severe, my GP prescribed Skinoren or Azelaic acid 20%. I bought Aziderm gel from Okdermo pharmacy. Within days my acne was nearly clear. I couldn’t believe it! And almost as good, the scars are far less red and I feel more confident without makeup than ever before. The only downside is that when I came off it the acne came back after a couple of months and some of the redness in the scars came back too. However I was only on for 3 or 4 months so will try it for longer this time to see if it clears for good. If not I will just stay on it and apparently it’s fine for long term use. Try it!

Product description on your website was not easy to read. I couldn’t see the exact weight of the product I was buying.

  7. Alexis H

Received product in 2 weeks. Finacea and Azelex was $157 with a discount coupon. This product was less than $25. Just started using.

  8. Danielle S

Please NEVER stop carrying this product! Not only does it work very well for my very mild Rosacea, but I get my order no more than 10 days In UK after I order! I am sooo happy with okdermo skincare!!

  9. Lucia Murphy

After paying an absurd amount for another product to treat my moderate rosacea, my dermatologist prescribed this when the other product didn’t work. Okdermo had this a good deal cheaper than my local pharmacy, I’ll be buying more as this really seems to be helping!

  10. Laverne Stone

I have only used the product for one day, and so far it hasn’t irritated my skin and imrpoved my skin. I have very sensitive skin that breaks out in tiny bumps. I looks like tiny whiteheads/ clogged pores in my cheeks. I used the product last night and there is a reduction of those bumps whe I woke up. I will continue to use the product every other night, and mix it with coconut oil if my skin becomes flakey. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that this does the trick.

  11. Lynn M.

Love this product! It really helped with my rosacea after just a few days. It’s not completely gone but its about 90% better!

  12. Glenn Kim

I believe that I have adult acne(I’m 26 and it started a few years ago) caused by very minor rosacea; if you have acne vulgaris and not acne rosacea, this treatment might not work for you. Though I’d say it’s still worth a try if nothing else works for you. So far, I have had consistent success with Aziderm (which I bought online via okdermo). The instructions are correct when they say that you have to wait between 4-8 weeks for results; for the first month, I suspected that it wasn’t working because I was still popping pimples on my forehead like mad. But now it’s been almost another month since then and so far I have almost no acne. I no longer have cystic acne and just a few really tiny, almost unnoticeable, whiteheads here and there. I’m very impressed! My skin is usually very sensitive(both salicyclic acid and benzoyl peroxide gave me worse acne along with rashes), yet Aziderm has given me no adverse reactions what so ever. I will say that even though it takes a while for the true results to show up, I did notice within the first week of using it that the texture and feel of my skin improved dramatically. My upper forehead felt much less flaky and got more soft and smooth. I am only disappointed that it hasn’t reduced the blackheads or cloggy pores much and my skin still gets more oily than it should. But those things can be remedied in other ways by applying salicyic acid ointment for example, and it’s no big deal if the rest of my acne is cleared! Great product. Now I can finally get back to dating with confidence!

I had severe acne for months and I thought it would never go away, I had used every product available and cleaned up my diet etc but nothing worked. Aziderm was the only thing that worked, the first few weeks I had even more severe breakouts but if you can endure this then it is worth it. It took two months for effects to show but if you stick to it it’s going to pay off. I now have near flawless skin and have done for the past 6 months or so.

  14. Gregg B.

I’ve been applying aziderm for 4 weeks now, once every night. My face to begin with was clear everywhere except for my forehead which is oily and i would breakout once a month, a few whiteheads here and there, with a few closed comedones. Since I’ve been using aziderm I’ve been breaking out non stop. I’m hoping that my skin is simply purging. I will give this another few weeks. Hopefully It won’t cause damage to my skin.

  15. Sherry Jensen

  16. Ricardo M

excellent service, quick delivery ,good price for the product I will order again.

  17. Andy Mann

The tube is difficult to open in order to use it. I would have preferred a tube with the small point in the cap for puncturing it open. The gel takes longer to disappear into your skin than the Finacea but eventually it does. Does not feel oily. I am satisfied so far.

  18. Jo

  19. Charlie

  20. Rosalie W

  21. Arlene A.

if it does work i will buy more.sure will be easier than a doctor visit.

  22. Eunice P

All I can say is that this product is amazing. I noticed the marks and active acne calmed down and noticeably faded after the FIRST time I used it. I applied it to the areas affected before I went to sleep and when I woke up, it was like 3 weeks had gone by. The marks were significantly faded and the sore spots had all calmed down. I have only been using this cream for 4 days but the results are better than other creams I have used for weeks. As with all acne creams, you must apply sparingly and I find that gently massaging the cream into each separate blemish reduces the redness of skin that isn’t affected by acne. I have not found it to be drying and as my skin is so oily, the chances of any dryness are pretty slim. I am therefore lucky enough to be able to apply Aziderm in the morning AND evening which maximises results. I didn’t want to leave the house 5 days ago and now, I am free to do so with my head held up high because of Aziderm!

  23. L .Backer

quite strong for me, 10% fits prfectly

  24. Brian P

Only on it for 2 weeks now no improvement yet

  25. Laurence Jensen

This is the 4th week I’ve been on the cream. At first I didn’t see a lot of improvement but now it is beginning to show slowly. It leaves skin feeling really soft and with no irritation for me anyway. Inflamed pimples under the skin are well down after 2 applications. It has slightly faded some hyperpigmentation..however it is said around 4 months are needed to benefit from it. Here’s to hoping! 4 stars as I’m awaiting more results as it states.

  26. Cathy C.

  33. Stephen W.

Hello, I’m 18 and I’ve had acne ever since I was 12. It had its ups and downs…mostly downs…and no matter to what dermatologist I went to, they just made it worse with all the products they would prescribe for me. Finally, about a month and a half ago I went to another dermatologist and she prescribed topical azelaic acid for me, salicylic acid lotion and a mattifying hydration cream. Honestly, its the first time in years my skin is clear, I get 2 or 3 pimples before my period but thats about it. My whole face was covered with whiteheads, blackheads, small cysts and they wouldn’t go away, this is the only thing that helped me. I apply Aziderm once every night and if I stay indoors for the day I’ll apply it in the morning too. Definitely apply it at night, because your pores open, meaning that Aziderm is given the opportunity to enter and hit the problem to its core(in a way) and giving you better results. I definitely do recommend this product, however, you should keep in mind that acne takes time to cure so be patient. Hope this helps 🙂

  34. Ralph Matthews

The product works as intended, and was recommended to me by my dermatologist. I would prefer to purchase a larger size tube, though.

  35. Deanna K

The prices are great and the ordering process is simple. Very well done.

  36. Clark and Rob

I began laser treatment for acne after having a very bad breakout after going to Italy. I tried everything! Creams, natural measures, diet (lost about 1stone in – month) cutting out everything including diary and bread. My journey was immense and my mental health at an all time low! Finally went to see the derm who prescribed azelaic acid 20% (Skinoren, or Aziderm). Within 2 weeks I saw massive changes in my skin. Much clearer and brighter. I have got a spots still appearing but I started it in November and my skin is the most clear it has been in over 6months! So happy!

  37. Evelyn Kim

    Effective product after continuous use.
