What is Moisturising Shampoo Sestry®
Sestry® is a moisturizing shampoo – treats dry, brittle, frizzy hair with intense moisture. It visibly repairs and protects your hair. The unique dry therapy formula suitable for any type of hair and consists of Argan Oil, Pentavitin, and intense conditioners to fight the 4 types of damage: environmental, heat, chemical and physical damage.
Pentavitin – every day, indoor and outdoor stress negatively affects the skin’s natural hydration, causing it to dry out much faster. The key needs of skin exposed to urban stress are fast-acting and long-term hydration with targeted care for problem areas. DSM has used its revolutionary visualization technology to study dry skin and hydration in women living in the highly-polluted megacities. This technology allowed researchers to produce color images of the face, that showed women have excessively dry skin in the problematic cheek and jaw areas. These remarkable images also revealed the true hydration power of DSM’s natural moisture-magnet PENTAVITIN®.
PENTAVITIN® is a 100% natural, plant-derived moisturizer with COSMOS / ECOCERT approval and NATRUE certification. Its effectiveness is based on its unique composition, which is similar to that of the carbohydrate complex found in human skin, and on its unique ability to bind to the skin.
Rinse-off soothing shampoo Sestry®: PENTAVITIN®’s in-vivo proven protective effect for a sensitive and itchy scalp was measured based on Trans Epidermal Water Loss (TEWL) and irritation intensity (colorimetric measurement). Even at low concentrations, PENTAVITIN® showed 2.3 times faster barrier repair than the leading benchmark. The irritation reduction was twice that of the benchmark Bisabolol.
Argan Oil 2% – Argan oil has anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties that are good for the skin. This can help prevent or improve skin conditions, including those that can affect the scalp that can cause hair loss, like: psoriasis and seborrheic dermatitis. Little scientific research has been done on argan oil’s antifungal properties, though it may help treat dandruff. Sometimes dandruff is caused by a yeast-like fungus on your scalp.
There is no research available on argan oil specifically for hair loss, but its proven benefits for hair and scalp health may prevent hair breakage and hair loss. Vitamin E – which argan oil has in abundance – was shown to improve hair growth in a small 2010 research study. The powerful antioxidants and nourishing fatty acids in argan oil help keep your hair moisturized and protects against styling damage and damage caused by free radicals. How to use Moisturising Shampoo Sestry®
- Apply Sestry Shampoo on to the wet hair and scalp
- Gently massage for a few minutes to form the lather
- Leave for one-two minutes
- Thoroughly rinse the hair and scalp with plenty of water
