In order to speed the delivery of new healthcare solutions for our patients, we have shifted from a conventional step-by-step workflow, which we used previously for earlier research to development and production, to a seamless operation. It means that all related functions collaborate in one team from the earlier research phase to speed up the research to develop and production workflow. We are also striving to integrate innovative medical technology with cutting-edge technology in different fields by leveraging the expertise and knowledge of Astellas, which has been cultivated through its Rx business. That way, we can contribute to patients who previously had no drug options by delivering an alternative solution. We can also help patients through Patient Journey (overall medical care, including diagnostic, preventive, therapeutic, and prognostic care).
